- 2 pounds ground beef 85% lean
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion chopped small
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup ketchup plus extra on top
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix beef and breadcrumbs.
Add onion and garlic.
Add eggs and milk.
Add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard.
Add salt, pepper, and thyme.
Add paprika and parsley.
Mix everything well but not too much.
Put mixture into the loaf pan.
Shape it evenly.
Put ketchup on top.
Bake for 60 to 70 minutes.
Check if it’s 160°F inside.
Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Slice and serve warm.
