Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef 85% lean
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion chopped small
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup plus extra on top
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix beef and breadcrumbs.
  • Add onion and garlic.
  • Add eggs and milk.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard.
  • Add salt, pepper, and thyme.
  • Add paprika and parsley.
  • Mix everything well but not too much.
  • Put mixture into the loaf pan.
  • Shape it evenly.
  • Put ketchup on top.
  • Bake for 60 to 70 minutes.
  • Check if it’s 160°F inside.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Slice and serve warm.

  • Don’t mix too much.
  • Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
  • Let it rest before cutting.
  • Use a thermometer to check doneness.
  • Add bacon for a smoky taste.
