- 1 lb sea scallops
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Dry the scallops with paper towels.
Mix paprika, garlic, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Rub scallops with olive oil, then sprinkle seasoning.
Heat a pan on medium-high. Add oil.
Put scallops in the pan. Keep space between them.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden.
Flip and cook for 2 more minutes.
Add butter and lemon juice. Spoon it over scallops.
Remove from heat and add parsley.
