Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamom pods crushed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions
 

  • Pour water and milk into a pot.
  • Heat on medium until warm, but do not boil.
  • Add tea bags to the pot.
  • Let them sit for five minutes.
  • Add cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and cloves.
  • Stir and let it cook for five more minutes.
  • Take out tea bags and add sugar.
  • Stir until the sugar is mixed in.
  • Add vanilla and stir again.
  • Filter the tea into a cup and sip while hot.

Notes

  • Use fresh spices for better taste.
  • Add more or less sugar as you like.
  • Let the tea sit longer for a stronger taste.
  • Use honey instead of sugar if you like.
  • Try almond milk for a dairy-free choice.
