Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Grease a baking dish with butter.
Heat butter in a pan on medium until fully melted.
Add onions and celery. Cook until soft.
In a large bowl, add crumbled cornbread.
Add the cooked onions and celery.
Add the seasonings: salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, sage and thyme.
Stir well until mixed.
Pour in the chicken broth and stir again.
Add beaten eggs and mix well.
Pour the mix into the greased baking dish.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
Take it out of the oven and let it cool.
Serve warm and enjoy.
