Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the broccoli and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Fill a pot with water and boil it.
  • Put the steamer basket over the pot.
  • Place the broccoli in the basket.
  • Cover and steam for 5 minutes.
  • Take the broccoli out and put it in a bowl.
  • Add butter, salt, and seasonings.
  • Mix well until the butter melts.
  • Add lemon juice on top.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Do not cook the broccoli too long.
  • Use fresh broccoli for the best taste.
  • Add more butter if you like it richer.
  • Sprinkle cheese for extra flavor.
  • Eat right away for the best texture.
